Welcome to the Level 5 Coaching Professional Apprenticeship Programme. This comprehensive 14-month training programme, including 12 months of on-programme learning followed by 2 months dedicated to the End Point Assessment (EPA), is meticulously designed to equip aspiring coaches with the essential knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to excel in professional coaching roles. Induction and Foundation (Months 1-3)
In the initial months, apprentices will establish a solid foundation by exploring self-awareness and emotional intelligence. These modules will introduce the core concepts and techniques necessary for effective coaching and personal development.

Core Skills Development (Months 4-6)
During this phase, the focus will shift to understanding coaching practices, including contracting, ethics, and boundaries. Apprentices will learn how to establish and maintain professional coaching relationships, ensuring ethical and effective practices.

Advanced Knowledge and Skills (Months 7-9)
From months seven to nine, apprentices will deepen their understanding of the whole person paradigm, exploring holistic coaching approaches that consider the entire individual. This phase will equip them with advanced strategies for supporting clients in a comprehensive and integrated manner.

Applied Practice and Professional Development (Months 10–12)
In the final phase of on-programme learning, apprentices will concentrate on applying their knowledge in real-world coaching scenarios. This period will involve hands-on coaching practice, under the supervision of experienced professionals, to refine their skills and prepare for the End Point Assessment (EPA).

End Point Assessment (EPA) - Months 13-14
The last two months are dedicated to the End Point Assessment (EPA). Apprentices will compile and finalise their portfolios, prepare for knowledge tests, and participate in professional discussions and observations. Regular review sessions with employers and training providers will provide essential support and feedback, ensuring apprentices are fully prepared for the EPA. By the end of the apprenticeship, learners will be equipped to excel as coaching professionals, making significant contributions to their organisations.
