Learning Journey

  • Months 1-3: Applied Management Accounting

During these first three months, participants engage deeply with management accounting principles, focusing on planning, control, and decision-making through workshops on budgetary controls, variance analysis, and performance evaluation. The learning period culminates with a comprehensive unit assessment to test the application of these concepts in real-world scenarios.

  • Months 4-6: Drafting and Interpreting Financial Statements

In this phase, learners develop skills necessary to draft complete financial statements for limited companies and grasp complex reporting standards. The curriculum includes practical exercises on financial consolidation and ratio analysis, evaluated through ongoing assessments and a detailed unit exam.

  • Months 7-9: Internal Accounting Systems and Controls

This segment focuses on the evaluation and improvement of internal accounting systems and controls. Learners explore case studies to identify system weaknesses, perform risk assessments, and implement strategic controls, concluding with a unit test to demonstrate their proficiency in enhancing and securing accounting systems.

  • Months 10-12: Optional Units

In the final three months, learners select two from the following optional units, each spanning six weeks: Business Tax, Personal Tax, Audit and Assurance, Cash and Treasury Management, and Credit and Debt Management.
