  • Core Skills Development (Months 4-6)

During this phase, the focus will shift to developing essential skills in equality, diversity, and inclusion, as well as coaching in the workplace. Apprentices will also delve into human resources and legal aspects, ensuring they understand the legal frameworks and HR practices critical for managing teams.

  • Advanced Knowledge and Skills (Months 7-9)

From months seven to nine, apprentices will enhance their understanding of people and team management models, performance management, and self-awareness. These modules will equip them with advanced strategies for managing team dynamics, evaluating performance, and developing self-awareness as leaders.

  • Developing Specialised Skills (Months 10–12)

As apprentices progress, they will focus on customer and stakeholder management, various forms of communication, and conflict management. These specialised skills are crucial for managing relationships, communicating effectively, and resolving conflicts within the team.

  • Applied Leadership and Management (Months 13–15)

In the final phase of on-programme learning, apprentices will concentrate on coaching and managing a team, change management, and project management. They will also explore organisational strategy, problem-solving, decision-making, and understanding finance, applying their knowledge in real-world scenarios.

  • End Point Assessment (Months 16–18)

The last three months have been dedicated to the End Point Assessment (EPA). Apprentices will compile and finalise their portfolios, prepare for knowledge tests, and participate in professional discussions and observations.
