The Level 3 Assistant Accountant apprenticeship is government funded for eligible learners. If your employer pays the Apprenticeship Levy, the full cost is covered through levy funds. If they do not pay the levy, they typically contribute just 5 percent of the training cost, with the government funding the remaining 95 percent, making it a highly cost-effective way to develop finance talent.
Apprentices must complete a minimum of 20 percent off-the-job training, which usually equates to around 6 to 8 hours per week within paid working hours. This includes workshops, learning activities, and applied workplace development, all structured to fit around full-time employment.
To enrol on the Level 3 Assistant Accountant apprenticeship, you must be employed in a relevant finance role and typically hold AAT Level 2 or equivalent knowledge.
